CHO Roland NKWAH

CHO Roland NKWAH is from Cameroon. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in English Literary Studies and a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in English Language Studies.

He has been teaching since 1998 and currently teaches ‘Techniques of Communication’ and ‘Oral English’. Roland specializes in English Language Usage and Change and has written and published Articles about Teaching and Learning English.

He likes writing poems and has published some of his poems both in print (“Songs for Tomorrow”) and on several websites.

He is member of the International Association for Intercultural Studies (IAICS). His most recently presented articles include “Englishing Chinese OR Chinesising English: A Survey of Cultural Mingling and Linguistic interference and“Practical Ways to Help Chinese Students Learn and Speak English like English”.

He also does freelance translation (French-English).


Juene L. Turner, (Chinese name: Tang Jun)

Native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA.

Education: A.A. in Early Childhood Education from Spartanburg Methodist College. B.A. in Elementary Education from Limestone College. Licensed by the State of South Carolina to teach ESL to adults in the workplace.

Experiences: She first came to China in 2000 as a volunteer to teach middle school English teachers in Amity Foundation’s Summer Program. She has taught at Binzhou University since 2003.

Awards:

2008 – Binzhou Xueyuan’ Honary Most Excellent Teacher

2008 – Shandong Province’s Teaching Excellence Prize set for foreign experts & teachers working in Shandong Province

2008 – Shandong Province’s Special Prize for excellent thesis at the 4th Symposium on Foreign Language Teaching

2009 – Honorary Credential from Binzhou Xueyuan

Published work: Thesis “Chinese English Majors Need More Classes with Native Speakers / Fluent Speakers of English” published in Theses of the Fourth Symposium on Foreign Languages Teaching By Sino-Foreign Teachers In Shandong Province, 2008


NJECK Victorine TEMBUCKNJECK

Victorine TEMBUCK is from Cameroon. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A)degree in English Literary Studies and a TEFL Certificate.Victorine’s teaching focus is English Language Usage and Change.She has been teaching “Techniques of Communication”, “Oral English” and “Listening”since 2007. She currently teaches College English to Flight Attendants and Pre-schoolmajors.Victorine has received Shandong Province’s Teaching Excellence Prize; anaward set for foreign experts & teachers working in Shandong Province(2013), and an Honorary Credential from Binzhou University (2009).
